Bertrand Groulx

Software Executive & Advisor (Independent)
Alberta, Canada

Bertrand began working in the upstream O&G sector in the late 90s. Over seven years with SLB, he worked in 16 countries to implement risk and uncertainty best practices for NOCs. In 2005, he founded Verdazo Analytics, creating visual analytics software for development planning, drilling, completions, and operations. He received the 2016 SPE Canada Production & Operations Award for his contributions to type-well curve understanding & best practices. After Verdazo's acquisition in 2017, he continues his work in risk and uncertainty in Upstream O&G and other sectors.
