Narissa Jessa (she/her) is the Inclusion Strategist at Inclusive Concepts Inc. and a fierce advocate for creating spaces where everyone feels they truly belong. As a racialized Muslim woman with an invisible disability and the child of immigrant parents, Narissa’s mission is to build inclusive, equitable, and accessible environments that reflect the rich diversity of the world around us. With years of experience leading IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) initiatives, she is passionate about developing and facilitating engaging training, crafting impactful policies, and helping organizations put their IDEA strategies into action.
Narissa loves breaking down barriers and creating connections—whether it’s within organizations or across communities. She’s spent years building bridges to help organizations embed IDEA principles into their cultures, ensuring that lasting and meaningful change happens from the inside out. Narissa’s intersectional approach guides her work, helping businesses create spaces where everyone is valued and empowered.
Community is at the heart of everything Narissa does. She’s all about giving back, from volunteering with local organizations to supporting small, community-driven businesses. Always learning and growing, she’s committed to expanding her knowledge, unlearning old ideas, and tackling new challenges every day. And she does all of this with a sense of humor and heart. She proudly recognizes and is grateful to live on Treaty 7 territory.
