02. Disclaimer

Before we start, I just want to put a disclaimer out there that all content in this course is not to be used for decision making purposes, particularly OGMP framework is a flexible framework, so any content in this course is my interpretation of the course and my recommendations for proceeding with the framework to OGMP 2.0 Gold Standard.

05. Housekeeping

Some housekeeping items before we get started.
We love critical and constructive feedback. Any suggestions you have on our course, please be sure to reach out to us and we'd love to endeavor to improve our content.
We're technology and vendor agnostic. There's no silver bullet for any technology in the methane emissions space. Oil and gas operations are diverse, and some technologies work better for one application than another. If there are any vendors mentioned in this course, it's to be treated as an example only. We do not make endorsements and we do not have any financial ties to vendors.
Also, there may be some educated opinions in this course. As I said, OGMP framework is flexible and non prescriptive in nature. So this is my interpretation of the rules and there also remains much to learn.
The OGMP framework is evolving and the methane space changes daily. We've attempted to include information that won't become out of date too quickly, but we'll try to keep the course updated regularly. So again, your feedback is encouraged.

But since joining Highwood, we've been working a lot with measurement informed inventories and voluntary initiatives, including OGMP 2.0,Veritas, MiQ and more.
I also want to give some acknowledgments. A huge shout out to Doctor Chris Nixon of Highwood. He was integral in developing this course. And thank you to all others who contributed to this course, either through content we've referenced or from the Highwood team.
