Cameron is a geoscientist and petrophysicist with 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has global experience that spans the upstream oil and gas cycle from frontier exploration plays to development drilling. Cameron's previous experience includes projects in North America, South America (Argentina; Colombia), Australia (NW Shelf; Cooper Basin), Africa (Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Tanzania), and Europe (UK North Sea; Poland; Czech Republic) in roles with Apache, SDX Energy, Wentworth Resources. First Alpha Energy, and as an independent consultant. Cameron's focus has been split between applying petrophysical workflows to evaluate reservoir quality and storage properties and evaluating geological risks on early-phase exploration prospects.
Cameron is the co-founder of Danomics Inc, a cloud-based petrophysics and geoscience platform, and is responsible for the technical workflows within the software. He also founded GeoRiskX.com, a software and consulting firm focused on delivering best-in-class analyses of multi-zone geological risks and probabilistic volumetrics.
Cameron holds a BSc in Geology from NC State University, a MSc in Geology from Utah State University, a PhD in Geological and Environmental Sciences from Stanford University, and a MBA from Imperial College. He has authored over a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles and numerous conference abstracts.
